Join Us for Treaty Talks: Shaping the Future of Our Métis Nation

In anticipation of the upcoming Kishchi Mashinaayikun Ooshchi Michif – The Sacred Document from the Michif being released to the public in the near future, Métis Nation–Saskatchewan will be travelling across the province in the North, Central and South, to host a series of Treaty Talks. This is an incredible opportunity for Métis citizens to engage in meaningful conversations and learn more about the Treaty.

These sessions are designed to be interactive, offering a platform for you to ask questions and provide feedback that will help shape the future of our Nation. The Sacred Document is a historic milestone, guiding our path to self-government. Your participation will help inform the next steps in this process, ensuring that the voice of the Métis people is reflected in every aspect of our governance.

This is your moment to contribute, connect, and be a part of something truly significant. This is a historic time for our Nation, and we are excited to have you with us on this journey toward self-governance. Don’t miss your opportunity to be involved in shaping our future.

MN–S understands the financial constraints on our citizens related to travelling for events and services. To support, MN–S is offering a fuel allowance for vehicles travelling for Treaty Talk events:

• Within 50 km to 100 km: $50 Co-op gas card per vehicle
• Within 100 km to 200 km: $100 Co-op gas card per vehicle
• More than 200 km: We encourage you to attend a closer engagement. If no closer option is available, virtual attendance is best. If virtual attendance is not possible, support will be provided on a case-by-case basis. Please reach out to [email protected]
