About this Event
In this creative, hands-on workshop, we’ll be using different art techniques and media to explore the life and times of Scottish traveller, botanist, filmmaker, writer and artist, Isobel Wylie Hutchison (1889-1982).
Visual artist and educator Katharine Aarrestad will lead this session which incorporates vinyls, patterns, text, drawings and images. There will also be an opportunity to view some original archive material relating to Isobel Wylie Hutchison’s travels to the Arctic regions of Greenland and Alaska as part of our new Treasures exhibition and the Petticoats & Pinnacles exhibition.
