Treasures of the Pharaohs

Volunteer docent Alfred Escoffier will discuss the de Young Museum’s latest exhibit, Treasures of the Pharaohs. Spanning 3,000 years of history, Treasures of the Pharaohs features 130 exquisite works that exemplify the grandeur of the world of the Egyptian pharaohs. The objects range from monumental granite statues to intricate gold jewelry, each highlighting the wealth and complexity of ancient Egyptian civilization. This event will be in the Oak Room at the Main Library. Tickets are not required or accepted.
