Featuring songs from Victorian operetta and well loved sea shanties, this sparkling musical version (not a pantomime!) stays true to the grit and adventure of Robert Louis Stevenson’s masterpiece, and promises to be a treat for all the family.
The Story: A Map, A Mutiny, and A Legend
When an old sea-dog named Billy Bones dies at the Admiral Benbow Inn, young Jim Hawkins discovers a parchment that will change his life forever: a map to the legendary plunder of the dreaded Captain Flint.
What follows is a race against time and tide. Jim joins the crew of the Hispaniola, flanked by the noble Squire Trelawney and the disciplined Dr. Livesey. But as the ship cuts through the waves toward a mysterious island, shadows stir in the galley.
A deadly game of cat-and-mouse begins between the crew and a band of ruthless buccaneers. Will Jim find the treasure, or will he find a shallow grave on the white sands of Skeleton Island?
Suitable for age 8+. Features gunfire/canon sound effects and stage fighting.
