**This is the only Tread the Trails event that will be held on a Tuesday. All following events will held on Thursdays.Join the Fort Wayne Running Club, City of Fort Wayne, City of New Haven, and Fort Wayne Trails as we launch Tread the Trails! Join us every other Thursday for a free guided run/walk with a 5k distance.
The runs/walks will begin at 6:00 pm every other Thursday throughout the summer and will take place from the same starting point as our weekly Trek the Trails rides, which take place on Tuesday evenings.
Participants may wish to come prepared with water, although water is provided at the start / finish. This event is designed with all ability levels in mind and is family-friendly, and each group will have a “sweeper” to ensure no one is lost or gets left behind. Routes may be a loop or an out and back, and we intend to have signage to mark the halfway points for each distance.
On Tuesday, April 30th we will meet at Promenade Park. Be sure to stick around for the After Party. This is a free event for the community. Food and Drinks are available for purchase from Ted's.

This will assist us in providing improved communication with you, track how many people we might see at each event, and provide a way for you to give us anonymous feedback about your Tread the Trails experience and ideas about trail development. Signing up will also register you for a chance to win some goodies at the end of the season! All walkers/runners can “sign-in” at each event for an additional chance to win! You only need to register online one time per season.
