Join the Paducah Singers on Sunday March 12th as we present a program of music centered around youth and childhood in its various facets. You'll hear new and exciting renditions of familiar "kid songs" paired with thought-provoking settings of deeply moving poetry. Featured composers include Mark Armstrong, Eric Whitacre, Eriks Esenvalds, John Rutter, Craig Hella Johnson, and many more. From the blissfully serene to the coyingly playful, the music of this concert will be enjoyed by "children" of all ages.In the spirit of celebrating youth, the Paducah Singers is proud to introduce the Paducah Singers Choral Scholars program on this concert. The Paducah Singers Choral Scholars are made up of area high school singers who were nominated by their choral directors for this opportunity. Conducted by Paducah Singers tenor Thomas Frost, the Scholars will perform pieces alone and with the Paducah Singers for this program.
The Paducah Singers will also be joined by renowned pianist, DeVonda Treece.
