TRE (Trauma Releasing Exercises) Workshop

Join us for an exciting TRE Workshop at the Abundance Wellness Center! This in-person event is designed to help you release deep-rooted trauma and stress from your body. Through a series of simple exercises, you'll learn how to activate your body's natural tremors, promoting relaxation and healing.

TRE® is an innovative series of simple exercises which assist the body in releasing deep muscular patterns of stress, tension and trauma by inducing a gentle muscular shaking response. This natural response generally feels pleasant and soothing, and after doing TRE many people report feelings of peace and well being.

What you can expect from this workshop: To learn about how stress and trauma are stored in the body as well as how to engage the body's natural tremor response. You will also learn how to integrate this practice into your everyday lives in order to continue benefiting from TRE on your own. Although TRE has been shown to benefit all ages, these workshops are designed for those over the age of 16. All fitness levels and body types are welcomed. Please arrive about 5-10 min early in order to allow us to start on time as the workshop will take the full 90 minutes.

Please arrive 10 minutes ahead of time in order to put down your things, get settled and sign the TRE liability health form. When you arrive, the front door of the studio will be locked. Please make your way to the back of the building and enter through the wooden gate to find the studio. You may want to bring a yoga mat, a pillow and or blanket (not required) and a bottle of water. If you do not have these things there are some provided on site. Please wear loose fitting or stretchy clothing (like you might wear to a yoga class). Also, make sure to avoid eating or drinking large amounts less than 2 hours ahead of time.

If you would like, you are welcome to wear a mask. All the exercises will be able to be performed comfortably with a mask covering.
