Trauma/Tension Release Exercises help to release stress from the body but using your natural tremor response. A lot of us are living in high stress states or have experienced a stressful event, this can then show up as tension, bracing or pain in our body. This technique helps to release stress that his held in the body. Once learnt, this tool can be used at home or as needed as a strategy to help us release tension across the day or as a recovery tool after something has occurred. This group is an opportunity to practice and deepen your tremors with TRE providers from a range of practices across Perth coming to facilitate. You may come to tremor in a group to deepen the experience, or if your tremor pattern has become a bit stuck then one of the practitioners can come round and assist. It is recommended that you have been introduced to TRE through a provider prior to coming to this open group so that you are competent in how to regulate the tremors, or you can do this free online self guided workshop to learn about the practice: https://www.trecourse.com/
We hope to see you there!
Please bring a yoga/pilates mat. Optional to bring is a pillow, blanket or whatever will make you comfortable.
Kate, Deidre, Emma and our fellow TRE providers.
Please note: if you have had recent surgery then you need clearance from your medical practitioner that you can engage in exercises to do TRE. Not recommended for individuals who are pregnant unless they have a prior established practice of TRE.
