TRC Community Marketplace: Holiday Edition
About this Event
TRC Community Marketplace: Holiday Edition
One-of-a-kind gifts in a one-of-a-kind place. Do your holiday shopping with Black-owned businesses and local vendors at the TRC Community Marketplace, inside the historic former Wabash YMCA in Bronzeville.
Browse gifts, grab something to eat from local food vendors, and take your time in a building with deep roots in Black Chicago history. In 1915, Carter G. Woodson founded the Association for the Study of Negro Life and History here. That organization launched Negro History Week, which grew into Black History Month.
Come shop, eat, and stay awhile!
The marketplace is hosted by The Renaissance Collaborative (TRC), a Bronzeville nonprofit based in the historic former Wabash YMCA. December 12 is the second in TRC's quarterly Community Marketplace series.
