Grade: Medium to Difficult with lots of Thrill
Time: ~7 hrs from Samrad (full descend)
Location: Bhandardara region
Sandhan Valley popularly known as valley of shadows or valley of darkness and is located near beautiful Bhandardara region near Samrad Village.
Samrad village and Sandhan Valley is surrounded by mighty Alang, Madan and Kulang Mountain. Amidst the water carved valley of 50 to 500 feet deep and around two km long.
Experience the heart throbbing crossing of 4 ft deep water pool (water level is upto waist) in the way of rock floored water carved valley. This spectacular canyon in the Sahyadri mountains offers to Rappel down four small patches to reach the base of SANDHAN VALLEY.
So basically here you don’t just trek, you rappel, rock climb, wading through water, enjoy bonfires and camp under the starry sky. You'll surely remember this 48 hours throughout your lifetime.
? Itinerary:
DAY 1: Friday
• Departure from Mumbai by train, will share details after confirmation
DAY 2: Saturday
00:25 Hrs: Reach Kasara
• Depart to Samrad by Private vehicle
05:00 Hrs: At Samrad
• Breakfast & Tea Time
07:30 Hrs: Start trek
08:00 Hrs: Enter in Sandhan Valley
We have to go through about 4-5 feet deep water for about 25-30 meters on the way … its real fun-thrill
Pls do carry extra clothes for the same
12:30 Hrs — Rappelling of 50 ft patch
Lunch time mid way & then 2 more patches of 20 feet 2 rappel
17:30 Hrs: Settle at base
20:00 Hrs: Dinner (veg)
• Enjoy Dinner, Campfire & Tented Accommodation
• Spend chilling night inside your tent or you can sleep under gazillion stars
DAY 3: Sunday
06:30 Hrs: Good Morning
• Breakfast & Tea time
09:00 Hrs: Trek towards Dehne
11:30 Hrs: At Dehne village
Move to Aasangaon railway station after lunch
• Lunch in Dehne village
• From Aasangaon by local train to Mumbai
• We will reach to Mumbai 19:00 hrs (That’s Subjective)

? Things to carry:
• ID proof
• Face Mask (must)
• Hand Sanitizer (must)
• Min. 3 liters water (must)
• Bedding/ Sleeping bag (must)
• Ready to eat food (biscuits, plum cake, chips etc.)
• Rainywear (optional)
• Good trekking shoes preferably Action
• Extra pair of clothes (Compulsory)
• Energy drink (ex. Glucon D)
• A haversack to put in all the things to be carried. (Please do not bring suitcases or sling bags/ jholas)
• Personal basic medical kit (Containing an antiseptic, few bandages, personal medications if any, Antibiotics for stomach infection)
• Camera (optional)
• Please try to wear track pants and a full sleeve t-shirt
• Please avoid wearing Gold and other ornaments
▪️ RULES & REGULATIONS:
• Smoking and drinking alcohol is strictly prohibited at the time of trekking and camping
• No plastic littering
• Wear full sleeves, full tracksuit to avoid mosquito bite or leeches
• No jeans/ skirts/ skin tight clothes
• Proper footwear/ shoes are essential for trekking
• Conserve and preserve our heritage
• No deo / perfume. After trek it’s OK
• We reserves all right to change/deviate/cancel the plans without any prior notice
• No Extra adventure/out of itinerary behavior during trek
• Trek leader’s decision will be final and binding
• Photographs taken during the activity which can be used for publicity purposes
• Each member will be responsible for his/her own safety, Jewellery, Cash and baggage

• We reserves all right to change/deviate/cancel the plans without any prior notice
• No Extra adventure/out of itinerary behavior during trek
• Trek leader’s decision will be final and binding
• TraWell Amigos will not be responsible for injury / accident / death of the participants
• Any damage to the property will be chargeable
• 50% refund in case if you cancel the plan and inform us 7 days before the event day
• No refund if the cancellation request is less than 4 days
• No Show No Refund
• Bookings cannot be transferred to another date nor it will be transferred to another person against cancellation
