Music starts at 8:00 PM! $15 coverWe’re kickin’ things off with your hosts and hometown favourites Travis Matthews & Gordie Matthews ( Dreamer’s Son), serving up a casual set (or two!) of originals and covers. These two are local neighbors and High Note regulars, lighting up our stage every Tuesday night for years — and we’re proud to have ‘em front and center for this special evening.
Gordie is a Canadian guitarist and arranger who’s played with legends like Myrol, Ian Tyson, and k.d. lang. Travis brings honest, pure-hearted tunes meant to soothe your ears and put a smile on your face, with storytelling that makes every song feel like home.
Then take off your hat and put on those dancing shoes THE ORVALD WAYNE SHOW hits the stage!
Rooted deep in Alberta’s small-town spirit, The Orvald Wayne Show calls their sound “Alberta Super Country.” Expect rich harmonies, classic country instrumentation, and songs that range from foot-stomping anthems to soul-stirring ballads. These folks are just gettin’ started!
