About this Event
Nepal is a landlocked Asian country situated in the Himalayas. The mountain range boasts some of the world’s highest peaks including Mount Everest. Airline transport pilot, flight instructor, author and photographer Lola Reid Allin presents her recent trip to the country. We will begin our journey to Kathmandu, the capital city, and the surrounding valley, home to seven UNESCO Urban Monument Zones. Then, we will head into the Himalayas and trek around Manaslu, the eighth tallest mountain in the world, stopping overnight in tea houses and tents in remote villages along the trail.
