An evidence informed, entry-level training module designed for community members and professionals in the Barwon region.About this Event
This training provides foundational knowledge in trauma, focusing on understanding its impacts on the body and brain. This module is recommended for students, early career professionals and professionals wanting to develop their understanding of trauma.
As a result of this training, participants will be able to:
- Recognise the effects of trauma and complex trauma
- Describe the Window of Tolerance
- Understand trauma through a neuroscience lens
- Explore effective regulation strategies
Duration: 5hrs - includes a 30 minute lunch break
Location: The SAFV Centre
For online sessions you are required to have a working microphone and camera on your device.
