Trauma Recovery Workshop: Come Home to Yourself
An Inner Child Healing Workshop for Women
Healing isn't about becoming someone new—it's about reconnecting with the parts of yourself that have always deserved love, safety, and compassion.
Many of the ways we think, feel, and relate to others today are shaped by experiences from childhood. The little girl within us learned how to survive the best she could. As adults, those survival patterns can show up as people-pleasing, perfectionism, anxiety, difficulty trusting others, emotional overwhelm, or feeling disconnected from ourselves.
Join Restore Wellness Counseling for an intimate, trauma-informed workshop designed to help women better understand the impact of childhood experiences and begin reconnecting with their authentic selves through the lens of inner child healing.
Whether you're just beginning your healing journey or you've been in therapy and want to continue building on the work you've already started, this workshop offers a meaningful opportunity to deepen your self-awareness, strengthen your healing, and reconnect with yourself in a supportive environment.
This is an educational and experiential workshop that combines trauma-informed teaching, guided reflection, and practical tools for lasting healing.
During this workshop, you'll:
- Learn what the "inner child" is and how childhood experiences continue to influence adult relationships, emotions, and behaviors.
- Understand how trauma affects the brain, body, and nervous system.
- Identify survival strategies that once protected you but may no longer serve you.
- Explore how unmet childhood needs can shape patterns such as people-pleasing, perfectionism, emotional reactivity, or self-criticism.
- Begin practicing self-compassion and healthy reparenting strategies.
- Learn practical grounding and nervous system regulation techniques to support continued healing.
- Participate in guided reflection and journaling designed to help you reconnect with yourself in a gentle and meaningful way.
This workshop is for women who:
- Want to understand how childhood experiences continue to impact their lives today.
