A workshop for yoga teachers, mental health professionals, school teachers, or anyone wanting to learn tools for regulating the nervous system.
3 CEU’s available.
This 3 hr. workshop will offer an approachable outline of trauma theory and its impact on the brain and the nervous system. We will delve into how yoga can be a supplemental therapeutic intervention for traumatized individuals, and will include the essential elements of offering a mindful, trauma-informed class. This workshop will include trauma-informed breathing practices, movement, theming, languaging, and cueing.
