About this Event
Trauma-Informed Creative Writing on Canvas: Rewriting Career & Financial Visions That Support Our Wellness
Join us for a class that engages our creativity for reimagining our relationship with work / success & finances that supports our mental health & holistic well-being.
Through a combination of creative writing on canvas using paint pens, mental health education, and holistic wellness practices (breathwork, gentle movement, guided visualization) we will explore the stories we carry about work, money and success —identifying which ones serve us and which ones we’re ready to rewrite.
Using reflective writing prompts, participants will create a vision on canvas of career & financial wellness that aligns with their true desires and values. (Small, medium or large canvases available). You are welcome to further decorate the canvas with writing, flowers, and other items available - and take the vision canvas home with you.
Our career and financial journeys are often shaped by our inner beliefs, traumas, cultural values, and systemic inequities. This trauma-informed creative writing workshop offers a supportive space for participants to engage their creative energy for reimagining career and financial wellness on their own terms.
This process allows us to connect with our body's inner guidance to shape our career & financial visions and practices.
No prior writing or artistic experience is required—just an openness to self-reflection and creative exploration.
Key Takeaways:
- Deepen awareness of how personal and cultural narratives influence career and financial decisions.
- Use creative writing on canvas and visual expression as tools for shaping a vision of career and financial wellness that aligns with your values and body's guidance.
