You’ve just started your career, they barely touched Trauma as a topic at your University and now every client that walks through the door has a trauma history…
Feeling uncertain how to work with trauma and inspecting every referral to see whether you need to handball it to someone with more experience? Come join us in November in the Margaret River Wine Region to start your journey to confidence.
Join us for 5 indulgent days exploring the best of the region’s food and wine, endless coastline and stunning bush lands - whilst learning from an expert clinical psychologist with experience in trauma in all its forms - medical trauma, attachment trauma, developmental trauma and refugee trauma - who has also worked across settings and can help you develop a plan to provide the right support within your scope of practice.
This November take your CPD learning out of the classroom and back to nature. Claim 20 hours of formal workshop learning + up to 10 hours of reflective practice, peer supervision and case discussions - but let’s make it happen over a glass of wine too! Led by Dr Alice Morgan, these Escapes will have you assessing and supporting trauma clients’ confidently, and knowing what to do to stabilise them appropriately. The first of 3 levels, Starling Health Collective’s Trauma Essentials will teach the foundational knowledge you need to become a trauma therapist. Supported by 6 sessions of post-escape supervision, you’ll also leave with a new community of practice and ongoing peer supervision and support.
Starling Health Collective’s Educational Escapes are open for booking now! Bring your psych bestie and we’ll give you a discount! Learn, earn CPD points, get your supervision sorted, and be the ones that get looked after for a change!
Come escape with us to reflect, restore, connect.
