WHAT?

This 3-day non-residential mindfulness course offers a gentle, supportive program to help individuals understand and work through the emotional impact of trauma, loss, and deeply held pain.

Through mindfulness, guided reflection, and compassionate practices, participants will learn to recognise difficult emotions, relate to painful experiences with greater awareness, and develop healthier ways of responding.

Day 1

Understanding trauma and its impact on the mind and body

How trauma affects attention, memory, and perception

Practical tools for grounding, orienting, and working safely with difficult memories


Day 2

Recognizing the ongoing effects of trauma

Understanding psychosomatic experiences and the body’s role in healing

Tools for nervous system regulation, resourcing, and increasing capacity


Day 3

Deepening trauma-sensitive self-awareness and inner work

Working skillfully with difficult emotions and inner experience

Integrating trauma-sensitive practices into daily life and ongoing healing

COURSE FEE:

3-Day Course:

$480.00 per person

$96 for seniors eligible for National Silver Academy (NSA) subsidy


National Silver Academy

  • NSA subsidy is for Singaporeans and Permanent Residents aged 50 and above.

SkillsFuture Credit

  • In addition to NSA subsidy, course fee may be offset by SkillsFuture Credit (SFC).
  • All tickets purchased with the intent to use SkillsFuture Credit to offset the course fee will be subject to a non-refundable $20 administrative fee.



Dr David Treleaven is an educator, author, and leading voice in trauma-sensitive mindfulness. He is the author of Trauma-Sensitive Mindfulness and has trained mindfulness teachers and practitioners worldwide to recognise trauma and create safer, more supportive spaces for healing.


A/Prof Angie Chew is the Founder and CEO of Brahm Centre. A certified MBSR and MBCT teacher, she has taught mindfulness to more than 15,000 people across all ages and was named The Straits Times Singaporean of the Year 2019 for her contributions to mental wellbeing.

• Please note that payments for courses are non-refundable, non-transferable.

There are NO make-ups if you miss any of day.

Missing a day does not disqualify you from taking part in the course - the trainer is not obligated to recap what was missed.

• Attendance of all 3 Days is required for Certificate of Completion.

•Brahm Centre reserves the right to replan the course should the trainer be unable to conduct the class due to unforeseen circumstances.

HOW? Do I begin the process of using my SkillsFuture Credit (SFC) to pay for course fees:


Step 1 (on Skillsfuture Website): Check your SkillsFuture credit balance.

Log into your SkillsFuture Portal to confirm you have sufficient SkillsFuture Credit balance (Take note: $4K SkillsFuture Career Transition Credits CANNOT be used for Brahm Centre courses).

Step 2 (on Eventbrite Website): Securing your ticket.

On Eventbrite, search for the course you are interested in.

Step 3 (on Eventbrite Website): Select correct ticket type & complete registration.

Select the intended Ticket Type (either NSA+SkillsFuture or Individual+SkillsFuture) and complete your registration. Upon successful registration, you will receive a confirmation e-mail containing information about the course.

Save/Screenshot the confirmation. (you will use this in the following steps)


Step 4 (on Skillsfuture Website): Submit your SkillsFuture claim.

Go back to the SkillsFuture Portal to submit a claim under 'E-Services'.

Please submit your SkillsFuture credit claim 60 days BEFORE the course commencement, for it to be valid. Deadline to submit SFC Claim is one week prior to course commencement.


Step 5 (on Skillsfuture Website):

If your SFC submission was completed successfully, the status of your submission would reflect as "PENDING".

Your registration is confirmed after your SkillsFuture claim status reflect as "APPROVED".

*Should you choose to cancel your SFC claim before the start date, Brahm Centre reserves the right to impose a penalty fee for course withdrawal.
