LB a.k.a. LABAT moves between worlds without apology. The Lyon-born, nomadic DJ and producer, founder of Poumpet Records and a name that has passed through Steel City Dance Discs, D.KO and beyond, builds his sets from the same restless logic as his productions: filtered house pressing up against UKG, hard house, techno and hip-house, all of it charged with the residue of '90s rave and the momentum of now. His relationship to genre is purely functional; what matters is the floor, and the feeling.
He comes to Traum on 19 June for what promises to be a night without clear edges.
Alongside him are She The DJ, whose sets move through house, UK garage, breaks and broken beats, and Moker, a Ghent-based DJ and producer whose sound runs hard groove, UK bass and speed garage into high-energy, genre-crossing sets.
