About this Event
In this fun class, participants will learn how to turn materials that most people consider trash into something beautiful for the eyes and ears! This is a great opportunity for creatives of all ages, especially young children who are working on their fine motor coordination. All participants will go home with their own wind chime plus the desire to make many more!
This workshop is appropriate for those ages 3 and up. Minors must be accompanied by an adult. Adults accompanying minor do not have to buy their own separate ticket if they're only there to assist their child.
About the Instructor:
Phoebe Yeager (she/her) is a local maker and crafter that uses upcycled materials and found objects to create new pieces of art with botanical elements. She is a veteran Montessori teacher with over 20 years of classroom experience and has a myriad of passions that include crafting, cooking, and helping families implement the practical elements of the Montessori Theory in their homes and daily lives.
While no longer in the classroom, Phoebe still enjoys working with children in a more creative and art focused way. When Phoebe isn't working on her own crafts, projects, or at a local market you can find her and her daughter inventing various unique and fun art experiments.
