Trash People x The Parlor x Dill Pickle!

Meet at 10am next the Dill Pickle Food Coop (2746 N Milwaukee Ave) for a neighborhood clean-up, ending back at the Dill for a a pay-what-you-can clothing pop-up!

As always, all clean-up equipment (grabbers, bags, gloves, etc.) will be provided! And please remember: registration is required by all clean-up participants. So go do that!

(PS We'll also have Trash People merch for sale so if you're looking for a new tee or sweatshirt, you won't want to miss this!)

The Parlor (a Trash People project) is a resource redistribution center - nonprofits across the city are resourced for free through community drop-offs that Parlor volunteers sort/clean/mend/and pack. With winter coming up, we need to clear out some space (particularly of things that partners don't need!). We'll have clothing, shoes, and accessories set out inside the Dill Pickle - all donations support the operations of the Parlor!

Pop-up will be 10am-2pm; you don't need to participate in the clean-up to attend!

What to expect:

• Please arrive on time to help us run a smooth event. We'll distribute supplies and go over the gameplan promptly at 10:00am, so get there early if possible! Thanks!
• Advanced registration is essential due to the number of interested participants - please don't just show up!
• We'll spend about an hour picking up litter!
• Everyone is welcome, and we hope you'll join us, especially if you haven't been before! We are a friendly bunch and exist not only to contribute to our community, but to make new friends within it, too :)

What to bring

• Please check the weather and bring appropriate clothing/supplies! Consider bringing a water bottle and some sunscreen if it's hot!
• Be sure to wear comfortable and weather-appropriate shoes.

• No need to bring anything else - we supply all equipment!

• If you want to bring a friend, please also have them register via the Eventbrite link so we can plan accordingly - we also need all attendees to acknowledge our waiver.

What not to bring

• We love pets, but you'll need both hands, and we'll be working near busy streets! We regret dogs aren't allowed to join Trash People events, but you're very welcome to show us pictures :)

• We mostly work near busy roads, so for safety reasons, our events are adult-only (18+).

• If the event is fully booked, please add yourself to the waitlist or join us for the next one! In order to keep the group manageable for us as organizers, to ensure we have enough supplies, and to ensure all participants have signed our waiver, we require all attendees to have formally RSVPd through Eventbrite.
