Building Blocks for Big Tricks $75Thursday, July 13, 2023

Intermediate or above only, must have previous hoop or trapeze experience, be able to invert easily (Bent or straight arm) and sequence on hoop for 2 minutes.
Ready to go big? This workshop is designed to get you working safely towards big tricks such as toe hangs, heel hangs, meat hooks and more. Participants will learn to build safe progressions towards higher technical tricks and how to mitigate and recognize risk along the way. Expect to work hard and have fun!

For hoop, trapeze, and hammock
This workshop will focus on spin specific movement prep, drills and skills to manage and reduce nausea, building speed and inverting in spin/flares. We will primarily look at under the bar/ under the apparatus based spins.
You will walk (or weave) away with new building blocks and drills to take your spin to the next level and a better understanding of how to manage the discomfort of spin work.
Choreo, Beyond Flow
Learn a short routine to music and explore the wonderful world of hoop choreography. New tricks, fun transitions, bad jokes and a sweet little routine. Looking for a push to try new things, new ways, work hard and move to a great song? This one’s for you!
