About STREETWEAR FASHION WEEK
SWFW is the first-of-its-kind, multi-day event celebrating the culture of Streetwear Fashion. The inaugural event will take place September 2nd thru the 5th in the new Streetwear capital of the world, Atlanta Ga. This unique experience is jam-packed with fashion, art, music, entertainment, and curated events by the culture's top creative minds.
Our Mission
SWFW was created with two core objectives in mind.
- Raise awareness and provide educational resources for mental health treatment in the minority community.
-Provide a platform for urban creators, entrepreneurs, and community artists by showcasing how Streetwear has impacted the culture and shifted the paradigm of the entire fashion industry.
To achieve these goals, we have partnered with BRINGING US TOGETHER( B.U.T.) , a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that helps spread information and educational resources about mental health. BUT was created to bring us together and provide hope for Black men, women, and children. We can and will support individuals in our community by providing resources that help them get back to the healthy and happy lifestyle they deserve. In 2022 we connected with community partners, corporate brands, and creative entrepreneurs to curate an annual week-long event celebrating Streetwear Fashion and the connecting subcultures of sneakers, art, music, media, and entertainment.

King Shands is from Stone Mountain, GA, and has curated his own style through his relationship with music and his life-long love of fashion. His desire to inspire minds to think outside the box through his unique style, lead him to add "krowns" to all of the clothing to signify royalty and self-empowerment.

KrownMe is a brand unlike any other. Started in 2017 in Atlanta by King K Shands, KrownMe has taken off through the underground creative screen via the artists who uplift the culture and keep it thriving. KrownMe is a self-empowerment royalty brand. The designer created a clothing line to motivate, encourage and inspire people to be their best regardless of their position or status in life. The company believes your royalty comes from within, and we provide the attire that aligns with that greatness. The fashion brand has more than 10,000 units on the streets. The clothing has been worn in music videos, movies, and supported by hip-hop pioneers and prominent Atlanta officials. Along with the quality of the pieces, there is a distinct meaning behind the brand which makes it distinguishable from other brands. The designer has always wanted to be different, and for his clothing to speak for him. The clothes have a voice, and he himself is inspired by what the brand says every day.
