TRANSMISSION is a club night based in Birmingham celebrating the Rum Runner and Blitz Club nights of the late '70s/early '80s.
MUSIC
The TRANSMISSION club night will consist of New Wave, Glam Rock, Punk, Electronic/ Synth pop and New Romantic music. Plus tracks from other genres up to and including 1985. Featuring artists such as David Bowie, Roxy Music, Kraftwerk, Human League, Heav-en 17, Japan, Joy Division, Ultravox, Sex Pistols, Simple Minds, Duran Duran, Spandau Bal-let, Visage, T Rex, OMD, Depeche Mode and many others .
Making their DJ debut and supporting Terry in the DJ booth will be ‘Only after dark’ regu-lar Alan Sharif, bringing his vast music knowledge of this era into his setlist.
Seven TV screens will accompany the music.

Exclusive to those attending TRANSMISSION club night, the entrance is through the doors to the right as you look at the main room bar.

There is disabled access to the TRANSMISSION club night room.
Please ask at the desk for guidance on arrival at the entrance in Meriden St.

PARKING
You can use the Coventry St Car Park, B5 5NY.
The car park is opposite the Hennessey’s Bar entrance for TRANSMISSION club night in Meriden St.
There are also free on street parking bays on the roads surrounding Hennessey’s Bar, although please be aware these are currently limited due to the amount of roadworks going on in the Digbeth area.
