Translating Joyous Laughter: An evening of live music and dance!

Please join us as we welcome Tarjama Ensemble for a night of dynamic live music and magical dancers! This performance is in conjunction with the workshop How to Dance to Live Music (see separate event for more info). There will be a suggested $10 donation for this event.
Tarjama is an Arabic, Urdu, and Persian word that primarily means translation. Under the expert direction of Meg York, the ensemble translates classic Arabic, Turkish, Balkan, Persian, Greek and Hungarian music into living, thriving expressions of emotion.
Farfesha translates as Joyous Laughter, a call to have fun and celebrate.
Together we create a magical evening with dancers from across New Mexico!
