LANDU Education Bootcamp: Land 101
(ask about the LEF scholarship)
What if you could walk into a land transaction with the confidence to understand the property, ask the right questions, and recognize opportunities that other agents miss?
The REALTORS® Land Institute Tennessee Chapter is bringing LANDU Education Bootcamp to Chattanooga this fall, and Land 101: Fundamentals of Land Brokerage is the perfect place to start.
October 16–17 | Chattanooga, Tennessee
Greater Chattanooga REALTORS®
Whether you're seeing farmland become subdivisions, rural acreage attract commercial interest, or expanding communities create new development opportunities, Transitional Land Real Estate provides the knowledge and tools needed to navigate these complex transactions with confidence.
This course is one of the three Core Courses required for the prestigious Accredited Land Consultant (ALC) designation, but you do not need to be pursuing the ALC to attend.
Why should every REALTOR® consider this course?
Across Tennessee and much of the country, growth continues to push into areas that were once considered purely agricultural or rural. Understanding how land transitions from one use to another can help you better serve landowners, investors, developers, farmers, and buyers looking for future opportunities.
What will you learn?
Transitional Land Real Estate explores:
• How population growth and development influence land values
• Identifying land with future development potential
• Understanding market forces that drive land transitions
• Analyzing opportunities and risks associated with transitional properties
• Working with landowners, developers, investors, and government entities
• Understanding zoning, planning, infrastructure, and entitlement considerations
• Evaluating highest and best use in changing markets
• Recognizing factors that impact future land value and marketability
The decisions made during a transitional land transaction can have significant financial implications. This course helps you understand the process, the stakeholders involved, and the opportunities that often emerge before everyone else sees them.
Learn from professionals who work in land every day.
One of the greatest benefits of LANDU education is the opportunity to connect with land professionals from across the country.
You'll spend two days learning alongside REALTORS®, brokers, investors, appraisers, and land specialists who bring real-world experience and perspectives from a wide variety of markets.
The education is exceptional. The relationships often become just as valuable.
You DON'T have to be an RLI member.
RLI members and non-members are welcome.
You don't need to already specialize in land, and you don't need to have your ALC application ready to go. If you've ever thought, “I want to get into land, but I don't know where to start,” this is your opportunity.
And if you already sell land, Land 101 can help sharpen the fundamentals that make you more effective in the field.
Start your ALC education now. Decide later.
Your LANDU courses never expire, so you can take Land 101 now even if you're not ready to pursue the ALC designation.
Take the course, earn your education credit, put what you learn into practice, and keep the ALC path open for the future.
For Tennessee licensees, this is also an opportunity to make progress toward your continuing education requirements while investing in specialized knowledge that can directly benefit your business.
Make it a full Bootcamp experience.
You can cherry-pick the courses that fit your goals or come to Chattanooga and complete all three ALC Core Courses during one Bootcamp:
