Annually, on or around November 20, transgender folks and their allies gather to remember transgender lives lost to transphobic violence over the previous year.Join friends from various faith communities and secular groups around East Alabama to remember, grieve, and draw strength from each other.
This vigil is being organized by a committee of members from First Universalist Church, Reconciling Ministries of Auburn-Opelika, PFLAG Auburn, and Auburn Unitarian Universalist Fellowship, and will be held in the sanctuary of Auburn Unitarian Universalist Fellowship.
All LBTQIA+ and their allies are welcome.
