Transforming Sophia:

A recurring 8-week workshop where you'll learn about mushroom cultivation and convert mushrooms into an herbal tea.

In the first half of the day, you'll learn the basics of mushroom cultivation. We'll discuss various substrates and various edible and medicinal mushroom species. Step-by-step, we'll share hands-on instruction of reishi cultivation. Reishi is a medicinal mushroom touted for its immune-boosting characteristics.

In the second half of the day, you'll learn about the process of converting the reishi into items like tea, extracts, and tinctures. We'll discuss various plants and fungi, their adaptogenic properties, and how to best extract them.
