An invitation-only roundtable among financial, fiscal, and economic senior expertise to establish a new resilience investment model
About this Event

Co-hosted by the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas-Houston, ROAR Partners, and the Future Proofing America Collaborative (tm), we will convene national, regional, and local leaders from among insurance-reinsurance, mortgage, banking, public finance, venture, family offices, foundations, donor-advised, CRA, CDFI funders to launch a new framework for pre-disaster risk mitigated project and program investment.

The significant research, data, and project example curation underway will help to inform this fast-paced, facilitated session towards specific actions including where the Resilience Community Trust, the Resilience Endeavor Fund, and the Community Resilience Bond "platforms" can be leveraged in sparking new projects or syndicating opportunities for leveraging the Nation's broad resources for resilience.

While policy - including perspectives from extensive work of the Federal Reserve, U.S. Treasury, Fannie Mae, and others across government agencies - will be a critical theme of the Roundtable, the intention of our session will be to define the key elements, structures, and use-cases for accelerating investment in projects, geographies, assets-facilities-infrastructure, and necessary attention for low-to-moderate income neighborhoods.

As background to the formation of the "Future Proofing America Collaborative (tm)" - the attached video was presented last December to the Urban Land Institute's annual gathering of real estate developers, managers, investors, owners, and public sector interests.
