P2P's 2022 Transforming Lives Luncheon will feature Emmy award-winning television host, best-selling cookbook author, and restaurateur Lidia Bastianich, in conversation with James Beard award winner and owner of Aux Delices, Debra Ponzek.Lidia will select the menu for the luncheon, prepared by the chef at the Greenwich Country Club. Debra will interview Lidia about topics ranging from her experience as a refugee in Europe, coming to America, and the role of food and family in her life. Lidia will share with the audience the personal meaning of the selected menu as part of her presentation.
As a special highlight, each guest will be treated to a luncheon menu personally selected by Lidia and receive an autographed copy of Lidia's latest cookbook, "Lidia's a Pot, a Pan, and a Bowl".
Funds raised will support P2P programs, including food pantries, emergency financial assistance, casework support, clothing center, scholarships, mentorships, camperships, infant layettes, and holiday programs.
