Visiting scholar Professor Vicky Duckworth (Edge Hill Uniersity, UK) explores the project aims and outcomes of the UCU Transforming lives and communities research project and the importance of activism, research and hope fuelled pedagogy in challenging the status quo. A light will be pointed at how the Lifelong Learning is vital in transforming lives and communities in 21st century Britain. The exploration will include the vital role of the teacher in making a difference to the quality teaching and learning.
