Dr. John Pournoor is the CEO and founder of Government Analytica, a government and public affairs consultancy that uses sophisticated analytical tools to demonstrate public value for clients, shaping the discourse with policymakers and regulatory stakeholders. He has over 35 years of experience working at the nexus of governments and industry, in sectors such as health care, infrastructure, trade, supply chains, safety, and security. By leveraging his years of experience on thousands of projects, John helps his clients unlock new strategic options with in-depth government, regulatory and stakeholder analysis; enrich their narrative with data-rich proposals and white papers; and shape the discourse with thought leadership content curated to key stakeholders. John earned degrees in engineering (BS, MS & PhD) from the University of California, Berkeley, and the University of Washington, Seattle, as well as an MBA from the University of St. Thomas in Minnesota. He has served on numerous boards and has been appointed by U.S. Secretary of Commerce to the Minnesota District Export Council. He is a tireless advocate and volunteer for community-based organizations.
