Discover the power of reflective writing to deepen understanding and uncover complexity in Georges Adéagbo's multi-layered installation.
About this Event

In this program, guided by Mary Hall Surface, participants will look closely at objects within Georges Adéagbo's installation, Create to Free Yourselves, and explore their evocations of history, connection, and creativity. This contemplative looking will inspire rich reflective writing about art as transformation — of space, perspective and the self. Designed for writers of all levels and for those curious about writing, reflective writing can become creative fertile ground for memoir, poetry, personal essays, taking action, and more.

Participants should bring writing tools: something to write on and something to write with.

This program is $15 and open to the public; members receive free admission. Please register to reserve your space.

You can also support President Lincoln's Cottage and programming like this by making a donation.
