Transatlantic Dialogue: Conversation with Governor Phil Murphy (New Jersey)

The American Club of Hamburg is pleased to invite you to an exclusive afternoon with Phil Murphy, outgoing Governor of New Jersey, on Wednesday February 4.

The event will be held at the elegant Villa im Heine-Park, Elbchaussee 43, 22765 Hamburg—a memorable and fitting setting to welcome the Governor for an afternoon of transatlantic dialogue and exchange.

3:30 pm – Reception begins (Crémant and finger food)
4:00 pm – Welcome remarks and discussion with Governor Murphy
5:00 pm – Informal discussions and continued beverage service
5:30 pm – Expected end of the event

Governor Phil Murphy is serving out his second and final term as Governor of New Jersey (leaving office on January 20) and is a leading voice on U.S. economic policy, international trade, innovation, and climate action. Prior to public office, he built a distinguished career in global finance and diplomacy, including service as U.S. Ambassador to Germany.

Rather than delivering a formal keynote, Governor Murphy has kindly offered to engage in an open, informal discussion with American Club members and invited guests, encouraging direct exchange on transatlantic relations and current global challenges.

The ticket price includes an elegant reception featuring refined savory finger foods—with a balanced selection of meat, seafood, and vegetarian options inspired by international flavors—along with a thoughtfully curated beverage selection including beer and non-alcoholic options, soft drinks, coffee and tea specialties, and quality German and Italian wines.
