Pinkster is the oldest Black holiday in America, a time when the Hudson Valley found joy and connection amidst unspeakable hardship and cruelty. When we celebrate Pinkster we honor the ancestors who came before us, share the memories, and acknowledge the legacy of culture that resonates throughout New York state.
