Two Events. One Incredible Day.
🛍️ TRANS MARKETPLACE & RESOURCE FAIR
2pm – 5pm | Free Admission
Shop from 20+ trans and queer vendors. Connect with community organizations and trans-affirming service providers. Find resources for healthcare, housing, legal support, and more.
This is what trans economic power looks like: our vendors earning income, our community getting connected, our people taking up space.
Free to attend. Donations at the door help us make more events like this happen.
🎉 EVENING FUNDRAISER BENEFITTING WERQ TOGETHER
5pm – 9pm | Tickets: Sliding Scale, Suggested $50
When the sun goes down, the real party starts.

Your ticket directly supports WERQ TOGETHER's year-round programs: peer support services, relocation assistance for folks fleeing hostile states, and the big dream - trans-owned affordable housing.
Sliding scale tickets available, including free options.

Trans Town 2026 is designed with our whole community in mind.
We're bringing together ASL interpreters, fresh air ventilation, accessible seating, gender-free restrooms, and free masks for anyone who wants one - because celebrating Trans Day of Visibility and connecting with community should be possible for everyone.
WERQ TOGETHER is a trans-led nonprofit in Portland, Oregon, building practical, creative, and affirming systems of care for trans communities. We started by delivering brownies to people having hard weeks. Now we're looking to bill insurance for professional peer support and planning a housing development. Still delivering the occasional brownie though.
Our core work is Peer Support Services. Free, trauma-informed, one-on-one support from people who actually get it because they've lived it. Our peer specialists help community members navigate healthcare systems, find stable housing, process the hard stuff, and build the kind of life that feels worth living.
We also run TRFAN (Trans Relocation Fund & Aid Network) for folks relocating from hostile states - microgrants, peer navigation, housing support, and a growing network of volunteers who help people get grounded in a new city. Moving is hard. Moving as a trans person navigating systemic discrimination, financial insecurity, or zero family support is harder. We make sure nobody has to do it alone.
Bloom House 2.0 is our transitional housing program currently providing safe, affirming housing for trans community members. And we're dreaming bigger: Bloom Housing is a future affordable housing development in partnership with local developers.
Trans Town is our annual celebration and fundraiser. Part marketplace, resource fair, live music, and full of community joy. It's also how we fund all of the above without begging foundations to believe we're worth it. (We totally are.)
Our team is trans and queer community organizers, system builders, artists, and nerds who believe in doing the work without waiting for permission. We collaborate with local orgs, shelters, food programs, healthcare providers, and a whole lot of volunteers to create care that centers safety, dignity, and joy.
At the heart of everything is a simple belief: trans people deserve not just to survive, but to thrive. We exist to make that feel possible, powerful, and just a little more human.
