Steve Helstrip, aka The Thrillseekers, has been at the forefront of the global trance scene for over 20 years. From his first single Synaesthesia in 1999, through to countless club classics including The Last Time, Affinity, Es Vedra (With Aly & Fila) and more recently After The Rain, Steve Helstrip has been behind some of the most emotive electronic music ever released. He's worked with pioneers like Trevor Horn, shared co-production credits with Chicane and Ferry Corsten, and remixed for artists including Tiesto and Armin van Buuren. He has worked under many aliases including Hydra, Rapid Eye, En-Motion and Insigma.

His latest album ‘Altered State’, was released under his Hydra alias in late 2019. MixMag concluded in its review that ‘This might just be the trance album of the year’. Steve showcased Altered State to a spell-bound audience at the world-renowned Transmission Festival, Bangkok, before the pandemic ground things to a halt. With Covid now firmly behind us, Steve has updated and revamped the album and is touring once again.
