Yoga Trance Dance was created by Shiva Rea. It is a creative dance of authenticity and self exploration that allows you to have loads of fun while working in and working out simultaneously.
Yoga and dance are two great rivers that lead us back to our true selves and the heart.
Trance Dance allows us to come back into the physical body and merge with our prana-
the vital energy of life.
Yoga magically awakens the breath, articulates fluidity of the spine, and gathers the resiliency of our inner power. Free-form trance dance cultivates natural somatic movements, intuition, moving meditation chanting, kriyas and creativity. Experience the benefits of both these ancient traditions in one energized dance and movement meditation."
WE will begin with the earth element, move through the other four elements (water, fire, air) and culminate in an ethereal relaxation followed by a short sound journey.
This session is mostly physical movement - wear comfortable clothes and dress how you would like to dance in barefoot. Sparkles, glitter and anything fun goes!
