Compete in a game of deceit, challenges, M**der, and over-the-top Scottish accents
About this Event

Join us for a night where you'll be pitted against your fellow attendees in a competition of deceit, challenges, murders, and over-the-top Scottish accents,* in an event that (according to our lawyers) is in no way inspired by the copywritten material of the hit Peacock TV show.

At the beginning of the night, several attendees will secretly be given the role of Traitor, making them murderers who must work to eliminate as many Faithfuls as they can without being detected. While others will be the Faithfuls, working to detect the murderers and eliminate them from the game. Throughout the event, there will be challenges where players can both earn protection from M**der and feed the (not very large) prize pot, clandestine killings, and round-table sessions where players will be accused and the suspected Traitors will be eliminated. At the end of the night, if the Faithfuls have successfully rooted out all the Traitors, then any of them still standing will split the prize pot and the glory. But if any Traitors are still in their midst, then it will be the dark side that takes home the honor and the spoils of victory.

No knowledge of the TV show that may or may not have inspired this competition is required.**

*Presence of Scottish accent is not guaranteed. All of our hosts are different and in some cases, trust us, you don't want to hear them attempt to give rules explanations in an attempted accent.

**This event will be open to the public, but if you would like to hire us for your own private Traitors party, please email [email protected]

Before you decide to buy tickets, a few basics we should cover:

1) As the game goes along, players will be eliminated from the game. If you are one of the eliminated, you unfortunately will not be able to participate in all elements of the game, but you will still have a chance to compete in the missions as a ghost from beyond the grave.

2) We are running multiple nights of this event in a number of different cities throughout the country. Because the game will be the same each time, we typically ask people not to buy tickets to multiple events, as knowing what's coming next will give them an unfair advantage over the other players in the room. But we are making one exception: If you bought a ticket in 2025, you can come back one time in 2026 (we will be running the game in January, February and, if there's enough interest, March). The game will be similar, but we will be changing a few elements, including anything where knowing what is coming will give you an advantage. This way, you'll be able to compete with new players on a level playing field.

3) Refunds are only available to those who cancel with more than 48 hours' notice, in order to make sure we have enough time to find a replacement for you and keep the event well-populated. (Exceptions will be made for emergency situations on a case-by-case basis). After that, we're blowing the money from your ticket sale on something awesome and nonrefundable.

4) If we get to 24 hours before the event and still haven't sold enough tickets to make this a fun event for all involved, we will cancel the event (and notify you).

5) Quirk Events is a company dedicated to creating joy through events built around games. We have hosted such things in the past as board game speed dating, a pub trivia M**der mystery, showcase nights for local board game designers and more.
