Trainspotting double feature | Trainspotting + T2 Trainspotting
Uvidíte a uslyšíte v jednom večeru. Tak trochu jiná odysea...

💉 This masterful, drug-fuelled response to the absurdity of life is thirty years on from its premiere. Trainspotting, a generational portrait of the wasted lives of a few Edinburgh lads based on the novel by maverick Irvin Welsh, hasn’t aged a jot. Director Danny Boyle shot a wild, anarchic, funny and visually extraordinary film. Amidst hard drugs, sex and a thumping soundtrack, this is a postmodern variation on the rebellion of all lost young generations against the system, the rules and the social pigeonholes into which they too are expected to squeeze themselves without any protest.
Whether this gang of former drug-addicted friends from the Scottish capital managed to do so is the subject of Boyle’s sequel, T2 Trainspotting, a film imbued with a free-spirited and bittersweet nostalgia for times gone by. What might have become of those young wrecks who survived their own deaths? You’ll see and hear it all in a single evening. A somewhat different odyssey...
