The new Venue is UTC Plymouth. We will be in the studio and quad temporarily as the hall is being used for exams. -Details on arriving will be in the discussion.
-Minimum age to attend a session is 18 years old, due to the nature of the sport and the risks involved. Insurance is provided by the BMABA.
-Please check the discussion first as Instructors will make a post if the session is cancelled or requires and specific kit.
-First session for new members is free and will include a dedicated introduction lesson.
-Please do not attend if you are unwell.
-Please pay for the session through bank transfer, ask an instructor for details, bank information below.
-All members can attend for the whole 3 hours if they wish however if you can only do the first 2 thats fine.
-Basic kit provided, mask, gloves, swords, gorgets, chest protectors. All borrowed kit MUST be cleaned and replaced.
-Please present any new equipment that you are bringing to the lesson to an instructor for a visual inspection and to check whether it's safe for sparring.
-Sessions will consist of 1 hour of structured teaching with a warmup, followed by two hours of open sparring. During the sparring time it is strongly encouraged you seek to fight as often as you are comfortable and to ask for additional lessons and tips from veteran fighters.
