About the training:
Participants will get familiar with what vision and mission statements are in a company and how it relates to a person’s purpose and values, as well how it serves the company leadership, and each team member to feel involved and accomplished. The goal is to explore and seek to articulate what a purpose is, using the original methodology of Simon Sinek known as “Find your WHY”, learning to make the difference between Why, How, and What in practice, and how they may serve to build a team that is complementary while looking into the same direction.
About the trainer:
Pascal Wiscour-Conter started in finance, only to move on quickly, becoming the inceptor and advocate of the Luxembourg maritime registry for so-called “superyachts”, a first of its kind back in 1992. Later, as he had imagined the specification for an IT tool to manage those complex superyachts, he ended up developing an online “tangible asset management” platform, discovered the Silicon Valley mindset, which in turn allowed him to finally identify his real mission: supporting others. As he excelled at business development, people would call him a good sales person, which he insists he is not. He believes his talent is rather simply the capacity to articulate and present a story in an engaging and reassuring way. In the USA, they call this an “evangelist”, which leads back to his “noble cause”. In doing so, he was helping other startups launch in arts, hospitality and food, fintech, real estate, and entertainment, in California, then New York. As he discovered screenwriting in a “writers room”, he applied it to create “corporate storytelling”. This journey has led him from Luxembourg to Monaco, California, New York, then back to Luxembourg after 20 years. Along the way, he has found his own WHY: to inspire others to connect the dots, so that together we can drive common causes
