Train-the-Trainer: San Mateo County (FREE)
This interactive, two-day training goes beyond content.
Participants will:
1. Learn how to facilitate the Open Doors Core Training curriculum
2. Build confidence in leading engaging, trauma-responsive learning experiences
3. Practice co-facilitation in a supportive, real-time setting
4. Deepen their understanding of youth-centered engagement, harm reduction, restorative justice, and cultural humility
Unlike traditional “lecture-style” trainings, TtT is highly experiential. You won’t just learn the material; you’ll practice facilitating it, receive feedback, and develop your own style.
By the end of the training, you’ll be prepared to bring Open Doors to your organization or community and help expand access to supportive, stigma-free conversations with youth.
Who should attend:
~ Youth-serving professionals (education, behavioral health, community-based orgs, etc.)
~ Experienced trainers looking to expand their facilitation toolkit
~ Emerging leaders ready to grow into facilitation roles
Completion of the Open Doors Core Training is required: https://opendoorstraining.org/training/
