If you’ve been to a Train N Chill, or have heard about one, you already know that this will be a small and intimate event. The number of participants will be limited so that everyone can get focused attention and feedback from Pamelita and Marietta.
This particular Train ‘n Chill has a social included on Saturday night with none other than DJ Mojo! Also happening this weekend is Seattle’s longest running Kizomba social, First Fly Friday where Mojo will also be the DJ. Details for this event which is not included in the ticket and at a different location will be posted in the event.
What to expect?
3hr intensive Tarraxinha workshop with Marietta on Friday
3hr intensive Tarraxo workshop with Pamelita Saturday
The focus will be on getting your fundamental skills and techniques precise and clean, followed by more advanced steps. The level will depend somewhat on the progress as we go through the weekend.
Leads: Making your leading more clear, precise and comfortable for your follow as well as adding your own expressive style. Expect focus on elements like understanding follows’ weight transfers and posture.
Follows: Improve your responsiveness, posture, fluidity, maintaining your own balance and equilibrium, and how to hold and move tension in your body.
Everyone: Expect to have a review video at the end to see your progress and drills to practice techniques between class and on your own after the event.
Come prepared to put in the practice time, observe yourself, give your focus during training, and most of all HAVE FUN!
