V-O-Cal plans to enhance Fernandez Ranch trails, within the John Muir Land Trust, by rerouting the Canyon Loop Trail away from a muddy old ranch road. The new route will feature a 5% lower elevation, grade reversals, and pass through forests, grasslands, and a buckeye grove. Spanning over 10 miles, the ranch's trails connect to major Bay Area trails and provide a habitat for diverse wildlife, including endangered species and occasionally mountain lions.You may volunteer for a day or the entire weekend.
