Trail Run with Santa!

Where: Franke Park BMX Race Park Parking lot

3411 Sherman Blvd Fort Wayne, IN 46808

When: Sunday, December 8th at noon.

What to expect:

Join Santa and his elves for a leisurely fun run on the dirt (or snow-covered) trails of Franke Park. We will run five-ish miles at a easy pace. The Franke Park trail system is great for shorter runs. We're planning to run three to easy five miles.

The event is open to runners and walkers! Both groups will launch at noon from the parking lot next to the BMX track.

There is a small stream crossing. Be sure to bring a dry pair of shoes!

The trail network is shared with mountain bikes so leave your ear buds in your car and be on the lookout for bikes.

The Santa Trail Run is a free, untimed fun-run and open to all participants. Use your smart phone fitness app or fitness wearable to track your time and then share your adventure on social media.

Post-run Christmas Party will begin at 2Toms Brewing following the run. All ages welcome!

Please bring canned goods to donate! Associated Churches Food Bank distributes food directly to the public. Help them to meet the needs of kids, seniors, Veterans, and families in need of assistance.

The Getting Miles Athletic Club offers several fun events throughout the year. We offer these events as free fun runs and we encourage participation from walkers and runners of all ages and abilities.
