Help Us Get Great Bear Race-Ready!
With the upcoming bike race on June 10, we're looking for volunteers to help spruce up the trails at Great Bear Recreation Park. Our primary focus will be trimming back overgrowth along key race routes, including sections of the Outer Loop and Beginner Loop, to improve visibility, flow, and the overall rider experience.
Join us Tuesday, June 9, 2026, for a trail maintenance session at Great Bear Recreation Park on the FAST trail system.
Depending on volunteer turnout, we may also tackle additional trimming and trail touch-up projects throughout the park.
No special experience is required—just bring work gloves, water, and closed-toe footwear. FAST will provide the tools, guidance, and help coordinate work areas.
Whether you can stay for the entire session or just lend a hand for a bit, your help makes a difference. Let's get the trails looking their best for race day!
Trail maintenance nights are one of the biggest ways our local riding community helps protect and improve the trail system, and every extra set of hands makes a real impact.
