🌸 About the Event Join us for a full day of Romanian traditions, storytelling, and community spirit as we celebrate Romania’s National Day right here in Kent! Enjoy a vibrant mix of culture, creativity, and togetherness, hosted by RoKent CIC and the Romanian Intangible Cultural Heritage Hub CIC, with the support of the Department for Romanians Abroad.

🎨 What to Expect

🧵 Exhibition of Traditional Costumes – Discover the beauty and symbolism woven into Romanian folk dress.

🎨 Creative Workshops – Try your hand at embroidery, ornaments, and festive crafts for all ages.

🎶 Folk Music & Winter Tales – Experience the warmth of Romanian carols, stories, and artistic expression.

👩‍🏫 Special Celebration – Enjoy a joyful afternoon, singing, reciting poems and storytelling with the children from the Youth Club and the Romanian Saturday School “Ștefan cel Mare și Sfânt”.

💎 Charity Auction Take part in our special auction and discover unique handmade and artistic pieces — both traditional and contemporary. All proceeds will go towards supporting this event and helping us organise future cultural celebrations for the community.

🎁 Free Entry This event is free of charge, but your participation in the auction and your support will help us continue sharing the richness of Romanian heritage in Kent.
