We sometimes complain when life isn't going our way or when our church isn't growing and doing well. We will often also either suspect or outright blame God for not being faithful. But the image of the potter and clay remind us that it is US who are not being faithful to God and, thus, He will not bless or reward us. Jesus reminds us that there is a cost to being His disciple, one which too many people (outside and INSIDE of churches) aren't willing to pay. Only by turning ourselves completely over to Him and His will can we expect to see and receive His blessings.We invite you to join us this Sunday in worship as we give ourselves over completely to our risen Lord and Savior with song and prayer and the reading of His Word.
This is also a Communion Sunday and we at St. Paul's believe in an open Communion table where ALL are welcome and called to partake.
