A traditional Hatha Yoga workshop exploring the philosophy, practice, and inner traditions of the Hatha Yoga path - mantra, asana, pranayama
About this Event

We begin with a traditional mantra, taking time to understand its meaning and purpose rather than simply reciting the words. From there, we explore what Hatha Yoga truly is—its origins, aims, and teachings as presented in the Hatha Yoga Pradipika—and how these timeless principles continue to inform practice today.

The philosophy naturally unfolds into a slow, mindful asana practice, inviting steadiness, awareness, and ease rather than physical intensity. We then explore the role of pranayama within the Hatha tradition, experiencing foundational breathing practices while gaining a deeper understanding of their purpose, effects, and place on the yogic path.

The workshop concludes with silent meditation and a closing mantra, offering space to integrate the practice with clarity, presence, and stillness.

This workshop is for anyone curious about the deeper traditions of Hatha Yoga and interested in exploring yoga beyond the physical postures.
